Logging Period Start
When your period starts, open Lova and log it right away:
- The main screen shows a "Log Period" button
- Tap it to open the logging dialog
- Today's date is pre-selected; tap a different date if needed
- Choose your flow intensity (optional)
- Add any notes (optional)
- Tap Save

Log as Soon as Possible
Logging your period the day it starts gives the most accurate data for predictions. Don't wait!
Logging Period End
When your period ends:
- Tap the calendar on the last day of your period
- Mark it as "Period End"
- Lova calculates your period length automatically
Flow Intensity
You can optionally track flow intensity each day:
- Light: Spotting or very light flow
- Medium: Normal flow
- Heavy: Heavier than usual
This is completely optional - tracking just dates works fine for predictions.
Editing Past Entries
Made a mistake? No problem:
- Tap the date on the calendar
- Edit or delete the entry
- Save your changes

Privacy Note
All period data is stored only on your device. It's encrypted and never uploaded anywhere.
Tips for Better Tracking
- Log consistently - set a daily reminder if helpful
- Add past periods for better predictions
- Track both start and end for accurate cycle length
